Welch Packaging Detroit was originally PackSpec, Inc. Packspec was making boxes and custom packaging for nearly 55 years before joining the Welch Packaging family in early 2018. In fact, Clare Tabor, CEO of PackSpec, held the distinction of being the only woman owned container company in the region when she took the reigns in 1965.
